BIOGRAPHY
ABDUL-AZIZ BANAWI is an Assistant Professor of Construction Management and Sustainability in the department of Construction Management and Engineering at North Dakota State University, Fargo - USA. Prior to join NDSU, Dr. Banawi established and run the department of Architectural Engineering at KAU, Saudi Arabia. the last department to be activated under the supervision of the college of engineering.
Dr. Banawi received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2013 working on methods to enhance the environmental performance of the construction industry such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Lean-Six-Sigma, energy efficiency, sustainability and green buildings. Dr. Banawi is an academic and consultant with a various backgrounds in buildings design, construction, manage and operate.
